2nd ZDENĚK MADAR PRIZE
This report presents the outcomes of the second annual competition for the Zdeněk Madar Prize. Established by the Czech Society for Environmental Law, the prize honours Zdeněk Madar, an eminent Czech lawyer and academic whose work significantly advanced environmental law in both Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic.
In line with the decision of the Board of Directors of the Czech Society for Environmental Law, this year’s competition was open to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses defended at law faculties of public universities in the Czech Republic. Eligible submissions were those defended during the period 2024– 2025. In total, twelve theses were validly submitted.
