AMENDMENT TO THE ACT ON COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY SELECTED SPECIALLY PROTECTED ANIMALS: NEW RULES AND PERSISTENT CHALLENGES
On March 19, 2025, Act No. 70/2025 Coll. was published in the Collection of Laws of the Czech Republic, amending Act No. 166/1999 Coll. on veterinary care and on amendments to certain related acts (the Veterinary Act), as amended, and other related acts. One of the related acts is Act No. 115/2000 Coll., on compensation for damage caused by selected specially protected animals, as amended. The article discusses the positive and negative aspects of this amendment to the act.
